Themed Photo Session | Gilbert Children's Photography

I just love a good themes photo! And this session was definitely one of those. Trying to go for a 1930's or 40's paper boy and I'm pretty sure we achieved that look. Although in the middle of Downtown Gilbert around rush hour it was hard to keep the modern day cars out of the photos, I tried my best though and P was a great little model!!

Photobucket
Reading his newspaper. I loved the green of these steps, they just make the photo pop!

Photobucket
This lamp post really was a great posing tool! The detail on it and the color really stands out.

Photobucket
I absolutely loved the railroad track that was nearby. I'm sure the fact that I recently saw and loved "Water for Elephants" has nothing to do with it. :-)

Thanks P for being so cooperative for me and your mom! Although bribing him with a smoothie didn't hurt either!

Baby R | Mesa Children Photography

This weekend I had the opportunity to take pictures of the sweetest little baby girl! She most definitely did not want to smile but her gorgeous blue eyes more than made up for it!

Photobucket
She just loved playing with the grass that was poking up in between the stones.

Photobucket
Such beautiful blue eyes she had

Photobucket
By far my favorite picture from the session!

Thanks so much for letting me take your sweet baby girl's photographs R family!

More Family Photos @ Freestone Park | Gilbert Family Photographer

I had two awesome sessions this past Saturday at Freestone Park. I love that park because of all the different scenic options and these two sessions are proof of that. Aside from that trademark bridge there really isn't much else to tell you its the same spot unless you're familiar with the park.
Here is a sneak peek of the great family I got to take photos of!

Photobucket

These four acted like any four siblings would. Messing around and just having fun! They were down for anything I wanted them to do too.

Photobucket

They loved jumping off this bench so much they had to do it three times to make sure I got the shot!

Thank you so much guys for letting me spend some time taking your photos and being such good sports about all the crazy stuff I asked you to do!

On Saturday, even when the sun decided to come out full force we still managed to get some smiles out of these two little munchkins!

Family Photos at home | Scottsdale family photography

I was able to take some picture of this little guy and his cousins and family this Friday afternoon in their backyard. The sun was on its way down and was filling the gaps in between the trees with beautiful warm sunlight. Needless to say I got some great shots.

Photobucket

Family photo right underneath their trees. I love the way the sun is filtering in behind them.

Photobucket
Even their dog Toby got in on the fun!

Photobucket

C is such a cutie! I don't usually get so lucky as to have a two year old that loves the camera this much. He was looking for the puppy I kept telling him was in my camera.

Thanks so much for letting me take your family photos I had a great time doing it!

More photos to come!

Happy Easter all!

Family Pictures @ Papago Park (Part 2)

What a gorgeous day to take pictures this past Sunday! The weather wasn't as cold as it had been and the sun was just barely peeking out from behind the clouds.

Although, definitely note the snow covered mountains in the background of the 2nd photo...it has been a cold winter here in AZ!

Congrats Micah & Emma

You may remember this couple from a couple of months ago...they were just married last week, on the rainiest day of the year I'm sure...but that didn't stop us from getting a few photos in front of their Temple. Congrats!!

Sweet Baby Boy

I got the awesome privilege to take some pictures of this sweet little baby boy. He was just full of smiles and funny faces for the camera!
